Welcome. I have taken a hands on approach to the creation of my website in the hope of conveying a sense of the enthusiasm, energy, and privilege I feel working in the Landscape Architectural profession. With each new project, a special synergy emerges as spaces and forms grow from infinite possibilities, to arrive at diverse conclusions. Every client is unique, and it follows that my design process is crafted to ensure the resulting garden is a just reflection of that individuality.
Vision
For many, the ideas are there – though the challenge lies in the interpretation and representation. Each of us to a certain extent has a ‘minds’ eye vision’ of their ideal environment.
Transformation
Watching a garden grow is surely one of life’s true pleasures. Often the most challenging sites provide suprising outcomes. How many of us remember the garden we played in as children?
Experience
As each season passes, the senses are rewarded by a feast of aroma, colour and texture. The wind rustles through the fire-coloured leaves which shaded us from the sun’s mid-day heat.
SPASA Pool & Outdoor Living Expo.
What an amazing experience.
Last weekend’s show was a great opportunity to meet a wide variety of people with interesting and diverse projects. The common chorus was… ‘so we are thinking about putting in a swimming pool… but… what about the rest of the garden?’
I am looking forward to the next few months, and helping to create some amazing outdoor spaces.
As promoted at the show, two hour home garden consultations are available at a special rate of $145- (normally $250-) if booked by March 4th. Also… Landscape Concept Master Plan services booked by April 4th receive an additional discount of $250-.
Special thanks go to Bob and Sadhana Cook, and Amanda my wife (and muse) – for their tireless work in helping put together my show display. Bob is a constant source of inspiration with his hands-on attitude to both carpentry and photo editing.
Yarrabee & Castlemaine Stone provided beautiful 400grade Honed Basalt pavers, and stainless steel gabion frames which were detailed with Castlemaine slate. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to showcase this beautiful natural and locally sourced material.
Shane Clifford.
